What this website collects

When you submit one of our enquiry forms, the information and files you choose to provide are transmitted securely to our website hosting and form-processing provider, Netlify, so CoreStone can receive and respond to the enquiry.

The information may include your name, company, contact details, project location, timing, scope information and documents or photographs you upload. If you contact us by phone or email, we receive the information you choose to share through those channels.

How information is used

• To prepare advice or a quotation you have asked for
• To communicate with you about a project we are working on together

We do not sell your information. We disclose it only to service providers used to receive, store or respond to the enquiry, to people involved in assessing or delivering work you engage us for, or where disclosure is required by law.

Storage and retention

Form submissions may be stored in Netlify's form-submission system and delivered to CoreStone by email. We retain enquiry information only for as long as reasonably required to respond, maintain business records, manage a potential or active project, resolve a dispute or meet legal obligations.

Your responsibility when uploading documents

Please upload only information you are authorised to share. Do not submit identity documents, financial details, passwords, health information or other unnecessary sensitive information through these forms.

Cookies and analytics

This website currently does not run advertising trackers or analytics services. To understand how people find us, the site notes in your browser’s local storage how you first arrived (for example a Google search, an ad link or a referring website) and the first page you visited. This note is not a cookie and is not shared with advertisers. It is only sent to us if you submit an enquiry form (where it is included with your enquiry) or send a message in live chat (where it is attached to that conversation). It expires after 90 days, and you can remove it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

The chat on this website is run by CoreStone itself. When you finish a chat, your answers (including your name, phone number and email address) are sent to us through our website form service (Netlify) so the CoreStone team can call or email you, together with technical information such as the page you are on and how you first arrived at the site. A short alert with your name, contact details and enquiry summary is also sent to the team's phones through the ntfy notification service. Your chat progress is kept in your own browser's storage for up to 14 days so you can continue where you left off. When you visit the site, a short anonymous notice (the page you opened, how you arrived, your device type and approximate city) is also sent to the team's phones through ntfy; it does not include your IP address or any personal details. Please do not share sensitive personal information in chat.

If analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, this policy will be updated to explain what is collected, why it is collected and the choices available to visitors.

Access and correction

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted, by contacting us using the details below.
