Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers for builders, project teams and homeowners. If your question isn't covered here, contact us directly.
How does CoreStone price a job?
We provide a written quotation after reviewing your scope, drawings and site requirements — pricing is confirmed in writing, not published as a generic rate, because it depends on tile selection, substrate condition, area and access. Builders can send drawings and a scope through our tender enquiry form; homeowners can start with a residential quote request.
Does CoreStone hold a QBCC licence?
Wall and floor tiling is carried out under QBCC Trade Contractor Licence No. 15640273 (Wall and Floor Tiling), an individual licence held by our director Mohammad Jafari. You can check it on the QBCC licensee register. Our director also holds a Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling — see our Qualifications page.
Do you supply the tiles and materials, or is this labour-only?
Both arrangements are possible. Some engagements are labour-only, tiling to materials already supplied on site; others include material coordination as part of the scope. Tell us which applies to your project when you enquire, and we will quote accordingly.
Do you carry out waterproofing?
Yes. Minor waterproofing (jobs up to $3,300).
What areas do you service?
We are based in Brisbane and consider suitable work across Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich and the Gold Coast. Sunshine Coast projects are considered based on scope and programme. See Service Areas for more detail.
What is your workmanship warranty?
Warranty and workmanship terms are confirmed in writing as part of your quotation or contract, because they depend on the scope of work and materials involved rather than a single blanket figure. Ask us for these terms as part of your enquiry.
Do you work with builders and project teams, or only homeowners?
Both. Commercial work with builders, developers and project teams is our primary focus, alongside residential enquiries reviewed for scope, timing and site conditions. See Commercial Tiling and Residential Tiling for the two pathways.
How do I invite CoreStone to tender on a project?
Use the builder and project enquiry form on our Contact and Tender Enquiries page. It accepts project details, drawings or tender documents, and your required scope and closing date.
