Commercial tiling support for builders and contractors in South East Queensland

Additional tiling capacity when programmes are under pressure.

CoreStone supports established contractors and project teams that need additional tiling resources for suitable projects across South East Queensland.

Discuss a current requirement

Where additional capacity may help

  • Labour shortages and unexpected crew absences
  • Peak workloads and overlapping project commitments
  • Programme pressure or acceleration requirements
  • Outstanding areas, defects, rectification and close-out
  • Defined workforce requirements on active projects

A controlled way to begin

We prefer to begin with a small, clearly documented requirement so both businesses can assess reliability, workmanship, productivity, communication and site conduct through actual performance.

The engaging contractor retains its client relationship and confirms the appropriate project-management, supervision, quality and contractual structure before mobilisation.

Wall and floor tiling is carried out under QBCC Trade Contractor Licence No. 15640273 (Wall and Floor Tiling), held by director Mohammad Jafari. Every proposed engagement is confirmed as legally and commercially suitable before work begins.

Ways to engage CoreStone

  • Subcontract delivery — a defined tiling package delivered by CoreStone personnel under your contract, with roles and attribution stated accurately.
  • Supplementary crew support — additional tilers for peak workloads, programme recovery or close-out of outstanding areas.
  • Project support — set-out advice, material take-off support and site coordination with your supervisors.

Work is led by Certificate III-qualified wall and floor tiling professionals. This is a trade qualification, not a contractor licence; details are on the Qualifications page.

How an engagement works

  1. Send the requirement. Project location, tender due date or start date, expected duration, personnel required, supervision arrangement and a scope summary.
  2. Document review. We review the drawings, BOQ, specifications and programme you provide, and raise questions on set-out, substrates, junctions and sequencing early.
  3. Confirm the structure. Scope, supervision, quality and contractual arrangements are agreed, and the engagement is confirmed as legally and commercially suitable before mobilisation.
  4. Deliver to the programme. Work is sequenced with other trades, with communication aligned to the programme and finished surfaces protected.
  5. Documented handover. Completed areas are reviewed and handed over through a documented process.

Workmanship we focus on

  • Set-out planned around focal points, fittings and junctions
  • Substrate and level checks before laying
  • Levelling systems for lippage control on large-format tiles
  • Back-buttering for full adhesive coverage
  • Movement joints and edge conditions planned in advance
  • Consistent grout lines, alignment and neat trims

Common questions from builders and contractors

What information should we send with an enquiry?

The project name and location, tender due date or expected start date, expected duration, personnel required, the site management and supervision arrangement, and a scope summary. Drawings, a BOQ, specifications or the programme help us respond accurately.

Can CoreStone start with a small scope first?

Yes. We prefer to begin with a small, clearly documented requirement so both businesses can assess reliability, workmanship, productivity, communication and site conduct through actual performance.

Who manages the client relationship and supervision?

The engaging contractor retains its client relationship and confirms the project-management, supervision, quality and contractual structure before mobilisation. CoreStone works within that structure.

Can you help with set-out and material take-offs?

Yes. Project Support covers set-out advice, material take-off support and site coordination with supervisors, for project teams that need planning input without full trade delivery.

Which areas do you cover for commercial work?

Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich and the Gold Coast. Sunshine Coast projects are considered based on scope and programme.
